DURATION
Approximately 5 hours
Following a one hour ride by air-conditioned minibus through the beautiful Bohemian countryside, we reach the stunning town of Kutná Hora, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site which gained excessive wealth thanks to its prosperous silver mines and became the second most important town in the Kingdom of Bohemia, after Prague.
In the 13th century, silver was discovered here and a few decades later the royal mint was established. The town became famous for producing the Prague Groschen coins, which were also used elsewhere in Europe at the time, and became the second most important town in the Kingdom of Bohemia. Some of the important sights you will see include the Gothic Cathedral of Saint Barbora, Italianian Court (the former royal mint), and the Sedlec Ossuary (a church decorated with more than 40.000 real human bones).
A delicious three course traditional Czech lunch will be served in a famous Old-Bohemian tavern during the tour.
After arriving back in Prague, you will be dropped off on the Wenceslas Square right in the city centre

It was an amazing experience. While most tourists seem to only know Kutna Hora for the Bone Chapel, I was thrilled to get a thorough tour of all that Kutna Hora has to offer. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and always happy to answer all our questions. The lunch was delicious as well. Highly recommended!
